I have been wearing my Hav's now for about 3 months, and I thought i'd give them a bit of a review.
Experience, I've been walking now for about 29years. 6'2", and weight 95-98 kgs. Left footed, left handed.
I normally don't like wearing shoes, so on the hype that Hav's get, I thought I'd try some.
Firstly, they don't make size 13, so I had to go with 12's which are only just big enough.
Secondly, I find my feet really sweat on the soles.
I also find that the soles are too soft, and roll over when performing various manouvers.
All up, I think the pattens and colours are great, but the performance and size range are poor.
I give them a 2/10 on the thong scale.

Do you find that they wear the skin away in between your big toe and the next one?
Do they make a good flip flop noise when you walk in them?
I'm in the market this season, currently using the expensive german thongs, which I recommend but are a bit like the foils of the thong world, better in some ways, nerdy, no credibility.
Good to see you're not afraid to give a product a crap review.
Problem with the RIO thong is the jatz crackers keep popin out the side....not a good look when getting changed in the parking lot...looks a bit like an oversized blowfly in ya crotch..
I was recently in Manhatten and the hotel I was staying at actually had a display of these "flip flops" (not thongs...). It was evident that this footware is aimed at the metrosexual and also the gay community
. Made to accompany microfibre slacks. Can you say "Hav...eee..ahh..naas" darling...
Funny marketing cus they just look like thongs to me. ![]()
PS. JB, not suggesting you fit the target market...

yeah for sure they are way to sloppy, roll over at the most inconvenient times.
i have finaly graduated to a pair of Oakley Sandals. Open toes no straps (straps r ghey), these Sandals rock (i wear em to work, and more than regular shoes), plus i look cool/the rich waanker, as they are much more expensive than Havanias.
But hey theyre sooo comfy, as are soo many of the Oakley footware range, i have and only wear Oakley footware cause i love the waanky new age design/comfort.
Plus i am a major waanker so this product suits me perfectly.
I highly recomend all Oakley Footware...

I don't know what Micks are, but I'll have a look. The best thong I have ever owned was the "SURFER SAM" from Rip Curl, replica of those old skool wide base thongs with the rainbow coloured sides, best thongs ever. They were unfortunately taken from me in a drunken hill falling accident, were one of them was damaged beyond repair, and I had to let them go that night. I still shed a tear from time to time in memory of the "SURFER SAM'S".
Hopefully the MIck is RC thong similar to the SS.

you can't go past the humble double plugger in my opinion. a proven design that has remained unchanged for decades.
inexpensive, durable, dog resistant and timelessly stylish.
the rubber is a bit harder than your average designer thong but it wears into the exact shape of your foot for a custom fit.
they are also available in all good supermarkets
