I'm keen to get into waveriding with one of my surfboards. I've had a few goes without straps (pain in the arse)and want to convert one of my older boards into a kiteboard. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips/advice on how to fit footstraps, which ones are best etc. I'm assuming you don't just drill your screws straight into the board and that there has to be some sort of casing glued in. Anyone know how???

Cheers

Dude better screw into the stringer because the foam wont hold much.

Better still to get some plugs from a board shop and use a hole saw to cut a nice hole in your deck, slightly larger than the plugs, dont drill too deep, mix some qcells with some resin and a filler and resin the plugs in. It shouldnt take too long and you could probably use it the next day.
