Anyone care to compare the power between these two boards. I've got a 128 but thinking about switching to the 132 to get a bit more glide as it's always a bit gusty where i ride and i want to get more bottom end power out of the board and extend my windrange a bit. I also think the 132 would be faster and a bit more carvy as it might have more glide.
My only concern is losing it at the top end and getting overpowered on the 132. I'm not really tooo worried about this as the 128 can handle so much power due to the flexiness and I imagine the 132 is the same, but I would appreciate any comments from people who have ridden both boards.
Anyone care to share their thoughts.
I have two FLX boards, one 128 and one 142 (I know you're asking about the 132) I find having the two boards great, because when I need a board that planes at slower speeds (lighter wind conditions) the 142 is awesome due to the extra surface area. However as you said you thought might be the case, when the wind picks up it can be a lot of board to have strapped to your feet and then obvously I switch over to the 128 (shich helps with not always having to change kite sizes as well. So if you did want a little more performance in the bottom end of your kites wind range the 132 would give you a small advantage there, I don't think personally it would be a HUGE difference because you're not jumping that far up in board size though.
