I have had a SS Rally for a little while now but am noticing that the "Centre of the Unvierse Kite Swivel" is getting cloged with sand and will not spin.

Anyone having this issue or have any tips on getting this to work as it should?

No issues on mine on the fuels and they are 2010. If they have sand in the swivel I just rinse in the water after I launch my kite, reach up and turn a few times and they are fine. The sand where I kite has pretty large grains - ot sure how they are with really fine sand in them,.

Need to give them a wash and work free in fresh water the water helps move any sand caught especially of it is fine sand the saltwater dries and crystallizes trapping the sand. Spray every so often with some drylube which is good for cleaning and adding a film of protection and lubrication against ware and the salt water.
