I know of 10 people who will all swear their bow is better and they are all riding different brands. That said, there have been some dud kites as far as I am concerned.

Maybe there is some truth to that red kite being best rumour, because I have a red kite and mine is the best.

I think there is for sure. If you get a graphite bow with really taught strings it would definately be better than robin hood's bow made from sticks and cloth.

Hey surfer62 better may not be the right term to use, I think different would better suit.
They are all different not just kites but bars make a big difference as well. every one is an individual, if you'd like to find out differences get out to a shop and check them out if you can get hold of a few and demo them.
I am a slingshot rider and was not a big fan of the bows last year, this year they are all alot better.
Please try and get a run on the new turbo 2, i'd be really surprised if you didn't like it. and anyfeed back would be great..

Waxedup and Coil, poor attempt to coincide my trip with rainbows sudden departure, way too obvious. A defective would do a much better job at bricking someone up!!! hehe Aye bro

There's a heap of difference between various bow kites like any other kite. The 06 Sonic is fast and light and aggressive. The Switchblade II is more stable and slower but very user friendly.

The Xbows have more depower and range and speed but are more prone to inversion.

The Airush Halo is kind of halfway between the SB and the Xbow.

The original Turbo Diesel is a grunt monster but will try to spank you if you blink. The Link has been a heap of **** from start to finish but it looks like they have finally worked out some of the bugs.
