Has anyone ridden the Dyno 17m LTD, I'd love to hear your opinions and views?
I'm actually looking at the Fuse 18m and the Dyno 17m but there is very limited info out there. I'm not a fan of the 2012 Dyno for what I do but love the old 2011 Dyno 18m and heard the 17m Dyno LTD was a better kite and should be the same as the Dyno 2013 coming out, so your opinions would be greatly appriciated.

... answering my own question with info found:
The 2013 Dyno is significantly different than the 2013 Fuse in design and construction, but both should have tons of low end. I haven't ridden either, but here is Ken Winner's take on comparing and contrasting the two kites in their largest respective size (Ken designs the Fuse and the Dyno, along with the Rebel)
The Dyno 17 is actually nearly 18 sqm, so the sizes are very close.
The Dyno 17 flies quite wide compared to the Fuse and it's a pound (roughly) lighter than the Fuse.
The Fuse has a bit flatter canopy and narrower arc and since it's heavier doesn't fly quite as well in super-light wind, but I think it jumps a bit better than the Dyno.
Other differences:
-Fuse has single point inflation, Dyno has 6-point inflation
-Fuse has back pigtail bungees
-Fuse has more reinforcements and so has a little tougher build.
-Fuse can be flown on the North 4-line bar. Dyno can be flown 4-line, but not on a North bar (Dyno 5th line is for safety and relaunch).
-Fuse has three bar hardness settings for the back pigtail.Overall I think the Fuse is good for the guy that rides a twin-tip and wants to do light-air tricks or who wants to ride over-powered and do jumps and tricks.
The Dyno is more for the cruiser on a directional who mostly stays on the water and likes a lot of wind range and upwind ability.

sounds like the "winner" by a long shot! ...an' with an 18m kite how much low end are you really gonna miss out on any how? Plummet as a wave/dog styler and recent dyno phobic, I thought you'd of had your credit card out b4 you even posted ol m8's search results?? no eh?

I feel he has you two mixed up. Problem with all of this Puetz is there doesn't seem to be enough info' on this new fuse. I have looked for ya, but can find little.

I have a Dyno LTD 17m which have used for racing. The kite has more grunt then the original 2012 model and also a little bit more low range. I haven't used the 2011 Dyno before so unfortunately can't compare to this and also haven't used the new Fuse. Stand out characteristics seem to be.
- Fast turning
- Grunty and bit of bar pressure compared to other kites this size
- Easy relaunch with 5th line
Have also recently had a ride on the 2013 Dyno and this seems to be slightly lighter weight again, more efficient and a large amount of lift.
Not sure whether you have a source closer to home but will be looking to move LTD model if your interested in second hand.

my opinion with the north brands is that they have too many kites that intermingle with each other rather than kites that people use for a specific reason, apart from the vegas, just my opinion, not slagging the brand they are one of the top few
