has any of you tried the Tribal2 15m2? How's the lowend and turning speed?
06 model was quite fast turning but it didn't have very good lowend I guess, but from the reviews on 07 models I get the impression that the new one should have a bit more lowend power?

i've got an 11m tribal 2, pretty pleased with its turning and low wind is Ok, have been out in 15 knots with a 140x44 board. (bear in mind this is my first board so I can't compare to other kites).I've let a few other kiters have a go with it and their feedback has been pretty positive.
Try contacting SurfSail in W.Leederville, they might have a 15m for demo. If not try Rob Gannon he instructs some lessons on a tribal 2's.

I have an 11m Tribal 2 and a 15m Tribal 2. I am 85kg after a crap in the mornings!!
My 11m gets me going in 12 knots and I have been out in 30 knots no worries. Terrific little kite. It's turning speed, heaps of depower and low end makes it nearly a one kite quiver. Magic in the waves.
My 15m is a little different. I got it for those days when the 11m wasn't quite enough. I can get it going at 10 knots but it doesn't seem to have the same low end as a lower aspect kite of the same size. Once you work it and build up the apparent wind it is a grunty kite. It loves long runs better than short tacks. I can down loop it no worries on turns and once you get used to it, its great for jumps.
The 15m is great in 15 knots. Fast, powerful and grunty....BUT.... when its 15 knots the 11m is way better!!!
