Hi, I'm looking at upgrading to the new vegas for its obvious qualities... but wasn't sure how well it would cross over to the waves?

Has anyone ridden a vegas much in waves? If so, how does it perform?

I'm trying to avoid buying a rebel as a second quiver.

Cheers

My wife rides a veagas 10 (010) in surf and flat water ive used it in the surf lots ,can say, on a twin tip or surfboard, its great , backs up when you want, super stable ,fast direct turning ,small fast loops ,doesnt stall , huge wind range. In short ide say as long as your going out in decent wind you cant go wrong with the 9 or 10. Ide only go the rebel for lighter winds where relaunch and up wind ability come into play(but the rebels still agood kite just like the c shape feel), but again only my opinion
Have fun
George
