My chosen board for the season is the 6' Converse after having been happy on the 6'2" all last season, except in 30 knots and big waves 
The 6' os definately a lot smaller but still with enough surface area to plane fairly easy, you probably lose 2 knots off your bottom end wind range between the two boards with the 6' needing that little bit extra.
After fangin' around on it in light and then very strong conditions on Tuesday at Cottesloe, I was lucky enough to snap a fin out on the reef. I say "lucky" because I went and bought some new fins for itand decided on the fibreglass version of the plastic FCS standard fin. I think it is called the M5, standard fibreglass colour.
Well, changed the fins and went back out in 25-30 knots, big swell and onshore wind at Trigg and the board was a new beast. Where it skidded a bit in off the lips and tight turns in the bowl and wobbled a bit at speed or down the face, the new fins were like knives and the boards dynamic changed to a board on rails. Absolutely no wobble or sliding, just a positive hold in the turns regardless of how hard I pushed it on the waves or under the lip, it just made surgical incisions so tight it cut right out from under me at times when I had too much heel pressure.
The board is very nice as standard but with a decent set of fins in it, it went off the scale to absolutely unbelievable.
My next mission is to save up for another set of fins for my 6'2" Converse to give it a new lease on life, can't wait to see how it goes.
Love the board, crisp, fast and surgical in turns.

Had a 3hr session yesterday on the converse 6'0 (with standard fins)- hands down best surf riding board i have ever used! A few of the top wave guys here in WA have tried them and feedback is consistently -"best board EVER for surf riding"
I believe Felix was using one of these in mauritius where he took the win there - here is the press release:

The Converse 6'0 is loose but drivey at the same times - this means the ability to go the extra 30 degreees to get square to the wave ready for the snap. Speaking to Mike B and some of the crew the board seems to give the best combo of drive and losseness with the straps in the all foward position
The board has a great combination of tail rocker and foiled rails which meanas that you can throw turns as hard as you want and the grip is there - most other boards i have tried tend to slide or lose it on a powered top turn. This board definately throws buckets!
I rode it strapped - surprisingly, for a surfboard,it was quite comfy to sail around. There is a demo one at Airborne - i reccomend any wave crew looking for the perfect board should try and get hold of it ASAP.
