I am currently using an Ozone catalyst 2010 kite and am wondering what effect changing the rear line length should have on the kites performance. There appears to be three knots under the bar floats and it comes on the middle knot when bought. Has anyone had any experience with trying the different 'settings'. Thanks.

You can experience a change in rear line lengths simply by letting your bar out or pulling it in. Pull it too far in and you get either too much power or a stall. Let it too far out and you have too little power, luffing, and reduced steering response. Adjust the knots so the bar is where you want it for your style, conditions and arm length.

Hey graf,

What djdojo says ^^^^^^

Also, the knots are not "settings", they are for compensating for line stretch. All lines stretch a bit and sometimes one can be stretched more than another. The knots are for sorting this out without having to buy new lines.
