Does any one own or has tried the NAISH Motion kiteboard? I think the 2013 and 2014 are the same. I found no user reviews online. Can anyone give a review?

I like it. Not usually a fan of freeride boards but the Motion and the Nobile T5 are an exception for me.
Good mix of comfort, upwind and pop with good edge control.

Got the 2013 138 model. Weird nose profile going on but it handles a treat in chop and is not too bad in the waves either. I ride with Apex footstraps which are awesome. Build quality is top notch. FYI I am not a die hard naish lover or any other brand for that matter, this board fitted what I was looking for.

Here's a review you might have already seen before:

Peelgeo What size board did you get?

For a person of 6'3" and 95kg I thought of the 142x42. Your thoughts?

Naish seems to be bigger in QLD than NSW. Wonder why?

All the kiteboarders I spoke to, that have or tried this board - love it as an all round performance board. Some say they prefer the Motion over the Naish Dub. I guess its all about your riding style in the end.

I'm 95kg and had a 138 for all of last season. Did work for me ok.

When it was time to replace it I was told by the experts that with the 142 I would get bored too quickly so I guess that would apply even more to you at 83kg

Yes I would be looking at a smaller one for your weight. Either the 134 or 138

Might depend on the use and your riding style/experience.If you like to ride with less power or mostly in surf some extra size can't hurt but for riding powered and grip it will.

current kiteworld mag issue 69 has done a review , www.kiteworldmag/gear, worth comparing to the other boards tested in this issue
