The 15m Fuel flys like a dream, I love the kite.......But I have issues with the bar....When i am powered up you obviously push the bar away to depower. When the wind is really on, the bar pulls away depowering the kite and pushing up hard against the stopper ball (which shouldn't be a problem). There is a small ring on the bar that is in contact with the stopper ball, this ring flakes/breaks away from the bar which damages/chews into the depower and 5th line. Wondering if anyone else out there is finding this. Every other '06 fuel rider I know has this problem. If you haven't noticed this problem on your bar, check it!
05 didnt have dugout
06 introduced dugout but intial composite lining no good and chewed the line, slingy took back the o6 bars, they were swapped for stainless inserts (+given new 5th line and chicken line as well)
ie shoul have stainless steel lining and dugout
had no problems since
Hi had same problem with my 06 bar but my line snapped. Before i put new chicken loop line on i removed all the broken away metal with a file so it is back to the fiberglass on the bar, the metal insert is still inside bar so you don't have to worry about wearing it out. Done this months ago and is working fine.
