Maybe a question for the shops:
What is the new release cycles for the different brands?
I was quite set on replacing my C with a bow this year after an equipment failure filled Vietnam trip, but have since decied to wait. Just wondering how long to see the next range?
Expecting the hybrids to come into really good shape this year, given the ditching of a few pulley bars and the great reports of the Rebels, SBII's, RRD's, etc turning speed and overall feel.
From waht I recall, shops used to release new kites just before Xmas, or a in May... anyone know what can be expected in the coming months...
please dont over-hype post -- simple Rebel II in this month approx supposedly turns faster, Naish SLE this date
Best will be releasing their new 07 Yarga Hybrid soon, aprox couple of weeks. hope to try some demos next weekend and should no some more details after that.
The Flexifoil Ion2 has just been released in the small sizes the larger sizes should be available next month.
The slingshot new T2 is out there being demoed now and i am told will arrive here the end of the month.
Slingshot Have really gone all out with this kite to make sure it flys absolutely perfect straight from the bag. Just as the fuel does. Before you go to a hybrid try the new fuel and I think you'll really be surprised at the power and depower..
The new Airush Vapor will be out the first or second week of April.
A lot of guys that demoed it at Kitestock were feeling a lot of love.

Vapor Control Bar Overview :
Dedicated Vapor control bar featuring:
• Functional pulley free control bar.
• Modular control bar design to allow for multi functional leash, depower and line configuration.
• On the fly stopper ball, for easy bar adjustments and safe “push away” depower
• The 5th line has a fixed stopper, which keeps the 5th line exactly the same length as your front lines. This enables you to adjust your depower and 5th line length in one go without having to adjust and re-cleat your th line every time the wind changes. It also prevents “bowed out” slack
section in the fifth line and maintains the correct amount of tension on the LE.
• The 5th line to set a permanent stabilization of the L.E. curve, liminating the steering lag or tangles which is caused by bridles
• 5th line leash – Apart from running a massive depower by just releasing the bar, the Vapor uses a classic 5th line leash system which can be adjusted from super safe at 5 meters long, right down to 1.5 meters for advanced freestyle kiteboarders.
• 5th line re-launch – The Vapor has rollover re-launch properties almost as easy as the flow or DNA. You can also use the 5th line to quickly put the kite on its back for classic C-Kite style relaunch (*this is rarely needed, only in super light winds with the larger size Vapors)
• Tangle free line ends -The Vapor bar has new line connectors, which have less corners and snagging sections making setting your lines out much quicker and easier. Also, In the unfortunate situation of a massive line tangle, the connectors can be completely removed allowing the lines ends to slip through and be untangled easily.
• Union Rivet - Solid tapered aluminum bar center. The Vapor bar features Airush’s unique union rivet. This makes the kite much easier to turn and depower whilst turning.
