360 videos are pretty **** in 2D; BUT when viewed with VR goggles though you will find an altogether different experience.

A lot of big companies are investing big bucks in VR and AR as it will be the entertainment medium for 2016.

Loads of potential for education and training too.

It is around $3K now but if want to just explore 360 videos properly, you can pick up a Google Cardboard headset for less than $10 from lots of sites. Google also released a Cardboard photo app which lets you take panoramics and link them to recorded sound.

If people have one of the newest Samsung phone you can now grab a Gear VR headset which is WAY better than the Cardboard option. True immersive gaming and an ever growing catalogue of applications....also great for watching..ahem....3d movies.
