Nobby's was good today it got pretty windy 20+ kts and those rocks can sneak up on ya! my first day here, was careful, but almost found them a couple of times :x
too rough for learners imho...
about 20x kites over the day, and 3x pole dancers...
for spots guide someone posted this earlier:

Tues 17 Oct 4:30pm = 20/25 kts
Wed 18 Oct 4:30pm = 23/30 kts
unique launch, as my kite rose up, a RAAF fighter jet did a low pass over the lighthouse, seemed only a few hundred meters up... and thanks for the help to land the beast later in the avo ;)
about 10x kites out during the day, zero poleboarders to my surprise...
i only have the 12m and feel rusty so didnt even try jumps lol! :x happy to play in the flat water pocket at the northern end.
lost my board & fetched it halfway down the beach. took ages to tack back upwind, as the waves & currents can really push you downwind in places.
better timing my inshore runs to ride across a building waveface seemed to help a lot... plus you get a nice view of the whitewater as they break. MY TIP: just watch the big waves dont suck the water off the rocks right in front of you! as almost happened to me on Tues, that was an "oh ****" moment, lucky about 1m of water remained in place...!! :o
smaller 5m - 8m kites with waist harness & strapless surfboards were going good all day too... it looks fun i should really learn that style...
sore hands & feet are a good problem to have from 2 great days so far... wind is likely too strong for my 12m today but happy sailing y'all! :)
[EDIT] PS. bom forecast just in, maybe it's worth some proper blisters after all :P
North to northeasterly 20 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore in the evening.
Seas 1.5 to 2.5 metres.
