Hey Kiter dad
Is that a line mount or strut mount for your camera have a line mount but a little concerned about interference with the saftey system?? ?? cheers kitepac81

I use a line mount, no issues with the safety

Just check before hitting the water that your flagging line is free to move and release. Line mounts definitely increase the risk of a tangle when you crash though, so don't crash!

Get one of these (if you can find one, as I think the supplier went bust). No tangles and the camera mount rotates to keep your camera level
