Often get asked why I go through the dramas of driving up and down the coast for downwinders. Hard to explain the thrill of smashing tiny waves for kilometers down the coast. Had fun on the WA coast yesterday and stuck a Revl cam on my son's kite. This is a super quick edit of the first 19 minutes. Not epic but hopefully shares the stoke as a 16 year old smacks a few micro waves.

I agree a down winder is awesome. I did a 40km as the crow flies down winder a few weeks back.

half way on the foil and the other half on the mutant.

Waves werent the best but it was still an epic time!

Hilly, thanks for sharing, sure you were with him in the waves, regardless of wave height , power blah blah blah , how good is it to get in the ocean with your kids and sharing the stoke, i am fortunate to surf and kite with my boys and girl, and i cherish every sess.

Nice edit!! A few nice hooks there

That little stack with the slomo was gold and reminds me why me and my knees avoid throwing the straps on for a burn around when I forget THAT moment comes eventually

Keep em coming ??

Brilliant clip! That first stack would have liberated my knees from my torso. Ahhh.... To be young again Haven't had the pleasure
of a WA kite session but east coast DW'ers on the sunny coast are the bomb! Thanks for sharing.

Doubt it. Not a fan of comps. Did a state round with him last season. Lots of sitting around.
