To be truthfull lofty helped me a great deal with my initial kiting form , and despite the general consensus about the man , he did ( does ) a lot of good for a lot of people that really want to get into this sport ! So like me or hate me ! Thanks lofty winds ! I wouldn't have gotten as far as I have with a kite without your patient advice !

To back this up i do know that lofty winds (Eflinikufesin) did used to fly a 2009 10m Cabrinha Switchblade.

Lofty gave soo much BAD advice in the noob section.

holy crap I got a shock when you guys outed lofty. Turns out he was one of the dudes who I would talk to on the beach. The first time I met him was when I was starting out. I asked him for a launch, he said no, then he just stared at me for like five seconds when I was about to tell him to get fxxxxx he offered to teach me to self launch. I said I knew how just wasn't confident and he stood by my kite while I practiced so he could grab it if I stuffed it. He's actually a nice guy in person. Anyway don't believe me and add me to the list of lofty avatars.

LMAO... I don't refuse launch helps when asked but in your case I saw an opp to teach a beginner an essential skill. LOL... I am glad you were patient with me grasshopper. See... You learnt something new, and self launching and landing is an essential skill for any kiter IMO.
