Hi.
Spun around in the surf yesterday while jumping in 20-25 knots and had the kite power dive. Suddenly the emergency release engaged and kite crashed into the water. Anyone else had their chicken dick take some serious punishment as per below?
Kite is a North Rebel and was set up for normal riding. No changes and not in suicide mode.
How did this happen? Warranty? Anyone else experience similar?
Happened on last years bar too, mine pops out once in a while if i land blind or something. i saw two others. Hope they give you a new one
Ok. Good to know its not just me. The accidental emergency release was not appreciated. Swimming in from out the back is no fun at all.
Never had to make a warranty claim before so here's hoping.

Have removed my rooster dick for fear of impaling myself
Would be very embarrassing at the hospital
