Hi guys.
Ive owned liquid force nrgs since 2011 and love them.
But now mine are ready for the bin and I'm shattered that they are discontinued.
Can anyone point me in the right direction towards a similar kite?
I loved the stability, light bar pressure and feedback, the loft and the huge top end. Ive had some LF solos out recently, but find the bar pressure much higher, the power delivery feels overly gusty even in consistent wind, and they seem to have a smaller wind range.
Any help would be great.

Riding style: Lawn mowing and small waves.
Experience level: whatever 10 years of lawnmowing equates to.

Let me guess, you're a Cabrinha fan?

Two kites come to mind having tried all three if you want a similar, but never the same feel.

The flysurfer boost or the switch nitro, the boost being the closest.

Good luck.

I think you should look at the ozone catalyst. A cool kite to cruise around on.

Thanks mate,
I'll put these on top of the list to test.

Just checked out the v6 nitro
A lot less aggressive than previouse models
Looks as well made if not better than most
Looks identical in outline to the new liquid force NV , if you've been happy with the brand it'd be worth a look

A lot of the guys at my local that were on nrg's have gone to cabrinha velocity's. I've never been a big fan of cabrinha's but after trying a velocity last week they really are a nice kite to cruise on and have big lofty boosts. If you like the feel of the nrg I doubt you will like the new NV.

I wasn't much of a fan of the nv, although the last one i tried was a 2014. I'll look into it.

I tried to see how i could demo a switch kite, but looks like you have to get onto someone local who owns one and ask for a go.

I'll look at the velocity too. There's a few of them stuck in trees in melbourne. Im not sure what that says about their top end?
