Toby is so ..... German. Has taken the style to a very weird technical place; linking basic tricks in almost endless combinations and permutations, then calling everyone one of these... a new trick.

All done with 95kg pie weight, in 20-25 knots on an 18m monster kite and a small board. Be nice to have access to a lagoon like he has..wow.

But good to watch ...to a point, then it gets as tedious as the flicky monkey wake stuff.

Personally rather watch someone like Dimitri, still one of the ultimate all round riders.

I shamefully admit, as much as watching TT's bores me. This guy is impressive. The stoke and how he pushes it is pretty good. It's always good to see something so different than just the same crap vids we see every other week.

There is plenty of exploration to be had in the other styles. He is very specific, requires specific gear, technique and water/wind conditions.

Have you noticed what hand he initially grabs the board with..even that is entirely weird...lol.

Yep if he grabs with the other hand, thats another trick! I'm kidding but also think its quite possible that it would be. His trick list is a never ending story for sure. Toby has spent a huge amount of time refining his skills, he is a very talented kiter regardless of whether anyone likes his stuff or not. The public and the average kiter tends to like what he does very much, so thats all that matters.

Shame that we never get to see what the kite is actually doing during his tricks ..............

Buy the airstyle dvd.....

Whole section dedicated to kite loops, most of the time he's not looping tho....

just a big ar$e kite in 25knts

Think its sitting at 12 mate most the time Thats all ya gotta do with a kite as big as he rides. Lol. I didnt mean to make that sound so easy though. Im sure it aint.
