That's one awesome looking board. I took a closer look at the 3D render on bwsurf.co.eu ... It looks to me like the rear quads have no toe and the thrusters have minimal (like a degree or two toe in.

I wouldn't stress it too much either way.

What construction are you making? I just finished a Tomo Vader 5'2" copy - PU Burford blank, 2x 6oz top and bottom, carbon rails and exposed cork deck. More pics to come when the paint job is done.

Nice Vader is that the corecork stuff?
Ive had good boards from VH eps and 6oz plain + 4oz nylextra quad from Sanded top and bottom plus feet and fin patches. The last one a 510x 19 x 2.5 Vanguardish thing has a horizontal 100mm wide 3mm ply stringer with carbon under it. Its got heel dings but seems hard to kill.
Ill either do something like above or thinking about trying the dreaded XPS.

Nice!

Yep, corecork 3mm, only ridden it once, but feels good. The Stallion board looks epic! Measurements look close to my first board which was an over shaped vanguard 5'1" which turned into a 4'11" x 16 5/8" x 1 7/8".

Epic shape (by fluke), sharp rails and thin board make for a goooood combination.

Where do you source your foam from in WA? All of mine have been Burford blanks from Colin Earle, but thinking xps or EPS next from block.

I get my foam block from foam sales.

Hi damageddad,

I'm also building a Stallion. Red Cedar with EPS core. A slightly bigger version 6.5', will use it for light wind kitesurfing.
Now at the stage of fitting the Future fin boxes and cant figure out the alignment. So most curious how you did setup the fins and if it works.

Wil post some pictures soon.

Best regards,
Olivier

So true, wow. The one above by Oliver I would hang on my wall, looks too good to ride. Are you going to sell a few?

Thanks! It starts to look like a piece of furniture indeed, pretty happy with it. Anxious to use it on the water....
Haha, selling a few would be nice, but counting the hours that went in to it I don't think anybody would/could buy it

Nice board Oliver. I have a Vac bagging setup you're welcome to use if you're in WA - saves all the clamping!

Thanks, looking at vacuum for my next project.
Would be great to borrow one, however 'a bit' remote from you guys, Reeuwijk / The Netherlands.

Anyone who can help me out on the alignment of the finboxes.
All aligned as shown by damageddad or approx 2* toe in for the front fins and the rest 0* ? Or any other suggestions?

Have you tried posting this question on the Swaylocks website? More likely to get an accurate response there as they are all board builders. The fin angles are important, slight changes affect response. There was a fin manufacturer making boxes with adjustable angles I believe but can't recall. Nice board - try Swaylocks

Thanks Hunter, did not know Swaylocks. Will check it out, looks like there is a lot of info/knowledge available there.
