A few of us foilers got the classic shark shields installed on their boards which are not really suitable.Has anybody got one these sharkbanz wristbands?They would be great for kiting as well.

The scientific evidence these guys provide seems pretty shakey if non existent (icbseverywhere.com/blog/2015/05/a-new-bracelet-scam-that-will-take-a-bite-out-of-your-wallet/). I think for a large shark it would be more a case of, "this tastes funny" rather than "I'm not going to eat that". Shark shield with it's active EM field seems at least plausible. the behaviour of those reefies in the video seemed no different to their usual eat and run tactics.

Personally I think using the white and black stripes on your board and wet suit would be a better investment.

Seems like BS to me. Would like to see some real science.

We haven't had any one complain that they are not working yet. ;)

There is no way i hell a wristband is going to stop a 4 or 5m white or tiger coming towards you at 35kmh. It's snake oil.

All of those reefies and whalers in the videos generally pose no threat in the 1st place.

Wish I had of thought of that.
Nothing better than taking money from the uneducated and uninformed.
