Over the long weekend it's happening again, Friday to Monday the south Australian robe Easter Classic will kick off. It's such a fun event so I thought I share the info that is posted in the SA section. Forecast for Friday looks pretty good!

Hi Crew, The ONBOARD Robe Easter Classic is on again - Bigger and Better for 2014!!! 3 Days of riding: Wavesailing, Kitesurfing and SUP!!!
Thanks to our major sponsors - COOPERS, REDBULL, ONBOARD, NEILPRYDE, JP and CABRINHA and to our product sponsors NORTH, SEVERNE, STARBOARD, FANATIC, RIPCURL, BILLABONG and QUIKSILVER, we appreciate the ongoing support! The Robe Easter Classic is an epic 3 day event running from Friday the 18th to Sunday the 20th of April. The comp is a 3 day expression session based at 3rd Ramp Robe with riding windows based on weather and wind conditions. It?s an awesome way to spend the Easter long weekend with plenty of fun, riding and partying! Signup is only $60.00 and includes a Hoodie, Coopers Show bag and free drinks on Friday night with the crew from Poeticool Justice and Headphone Piracy!!! Be quick as we only have 170 hoods so visit the store or call us on 8294 3866 to sign up from Saturday 22nd of March.

Friday 18th:
11.00am - Signup / Briefing at 3rd Ramp,
12.00pm - BBQ lunch, Tunes and Redbull?s on Ice,
7.00pm - Robe Easter Party: Headphone Piracy, DJ, Coopers and Redbull (Venue TBA)

Saturday 19th:
10.00am - Skippers Briefing 3rd Ramp Robe SUP Surf expression Session / Heats based on weather / surf conditions SUP downwind Race across the Bay (start time / start and finish line TBA) Kite and Windsurf expression Session 3rd Ramp Robe Saturday night - support the local venues, buy lots of Coopers - Robe Hotel & Calie!!!

Sunday 20th:
10.00am - Skippers Briefing 3rd Ramp Robe SUP Surf expression Session / Heats based on weather / surf conditions SUP downwind Race across the Bay (start time / start and finish line TBA) Kite and Windsurf expression Session 3rd Ramp Robe
7.30pm - Presentation night, Yacht Club thanks to Coopers and Redbull, prizes for all competitors!!!

haha nah that chart is 3.5 hrs removed from adelaide so not the best indication. I use either:

www.surf-forecast.com/breaks/Long-Beach_3/forecasts/latest/six_day

www.bom.gov.au/sa/forecasts/lower-south-east-coast.shtml

or things like willy weather etc. bom doesnt have a robe forecast as such but the lower south east marine forecast tends to be fairly ok.

looks like friday and sunday morning is gonna be the go at this stage

wavesailing, SUP and ...... kitesurfing?????
can you let the Philip Island crew know where you get your insurance
from!

Haha it has been awesome! 3 out of 4 days of kiting if we include tomorrow's 25-30 knot forecast wind waves beer and friends. happy days

lol! shoulda taken the chance ;-) it was pretty good. wind friday, sunday & monday, and some good conditions for sup/surf sat. definitely had a lot of fun!!

and yep will def upload some pics. I dont have any myself, but one of my friends maurice windley has taken about a million photos. His photo/video work is incredible, so ill post the link here when he uploads them on his website:)

Was stranded in Robe for a week some time ago, cool place to visit too
