Hey! This is my first post in here. Not sure if I am in the right place..

Anyway, today I bought a new harness which is the Prolimit pure edge harness. I tested it in the store and everything before buying it and it was great (fitted perfectly) Medium (30-32''). It also looks kinda cool (blue and black).

After getting back home, I googled it and found out that it's for girls... Do you think there's a difference between men and women's harnesses?

Didn't feel anything's wrong while wearing it... Do you think I will feel uncomfortable when I start riding ?

Thank you.

Maj

Haha ive had my eye on my Missus harness afew times, looks super comfy .. especially when shes wearing it :)

Would love to know the shop who sold you it thou ... A mate who i worked with in a rollerblade shop once sold a set of girls skates to a big bloke , I whispered to my mate just before he took the money " you know they're chicks skates", I think by that stage he was too scared to turn around and tell the bloke he had sold him a set of sheilas skates. Haha still makes me chuckle

... dude, you answered your own question, "it fits perfect" so that is that! Don't question it, wear it, especially if its comfy!!

What ever feels comfortable

BUT

What you will find is that the blokes version will be larger and probably provide more support, spreader bar should have given it away as the harness fastens from the opposite side.

Do you have the same situation with your underwear?

If so then the problem may be more complex.

Why does a chick harness fasten the other end, besides them being a bit strange.

From the beach your harness doesnt look like a girl harness, except maybe for the girly writing but $120 is real cheap. I'd totally hate the guy who sold it to you tho for not telling you.

Yea I think it looks ok... But I don't think the person who sold me the harness knew it was for chicks. He tried it himself before selling it to me lol. Anyway the strange think also is that the size is medium (30-32), Isn't the medium for girls different ? Like 38'' ?

but mostly because they are strange and to make them easier to undress?

That's a quality harness at an awesome price. !! ( most harnesses start at about $220 )

It's not covered in Frangipani flowers or lipstick pink so just enjoy it.
You will find it odd to be fitting your next "mens" harness from the other side - but not a big deal

Ikr! it's an awesome harness for that price

Also the store was very friendly and kind they did offer me an exchange . But Imo this harness doesn't even look girly except for the font "pure edge" which can be covered up easily, I will definitely stick with it. I think the manufacturer should label it as a unisex harness lol. It's all about marketing. They can trick people's mind with just couple of words.

Cheers!
