It was Shane that was out with a 7 up and yeah there was some North in it.
When I got there 3 others had just packed up - all had big smiles.
Conditions were good, wind was steady and some reasonable faces.

Yeah Tony, he was one of the 3 that just came off the water when I got there. He had his Go Pro on his board and was pretty keen to have a look at some of the waves he dropped in on, might've been so keen that he left it behind.

looks pretty mushy and washing machineish. i concur with the wishster. boosting should been the call of the day.
ps why not boost and wave ride?
It could have been me in pic one (getting smashed), I had a shocker that day,droped my kite within 5 min of being on the water.
It was a weird direction, and ****e happens before you know it, smashed a lip and got pitched first wave, lines go slack then all tears rom there.

Crashing splashdown Plummet - as you said it was like a washing machine that day but there were some decent slabs coming through.
Shane (rider in the pics) was strapless, so boosting wouldn't have worked - staying on the board was difficult enough.
