Hi everyone,
I was wondering what size board would be suitable for me if I wanna go to ride in light wind condition, I have bought a Ozone Zephyr 17m kite recently, (because the wind is not strong nowadays) but I have to buy a bigger board as well. I'm a bit heavier rider 88 kg ( before lunch) so I would really appreciate if you guys could give me any advice what brand, and size should buy.

Cheers John

Hi John,

There are quite a few options available to you ...... here two different light wind boards I use: CrazyFly twin tt with a deckpad (~160*48) and a 23 inch wide surfboard.

Light wind twin tips are so boring. If your wanting to go extra light wind, I would recomend changing style so strapless.
Naish make a cool wooden board that's awsome at light wind. Or for the cheap option, go buy a wood skim board. Awsome for light wind and really fun

I bought a cab stylus 165, they're a big board but great in chop, and you can get off the water with them, and will handle higher winds aswell.

Best lightwind board I've ridden , super light for the size (lighter than most freestyleboards 138-142 in lenght) and decent rocker so no slap or facespray in the chop.

Plains really early and adds a good 5+ knots to any kites low end.

Im doing old school tricks on this below 15 knots on my 15m flysurfer when most peeps are heading back to shore.

If you have super flat water and wind again tide you can be having alot of fun in 10 knots

600 EURO!!

That's nearly $2000 for a kite board... OMG I am in the wrong industry. I should make my own and rip people off too.

~$1000 for the CrazyFly ... makes a piece of plywood seem very attractive.
