That's it I think, what a way to finish off, low 20's, huge rolling swell with lip throwing pits..... Just need to find a bigger swell to compete

Hope not Austin, put up the zephyr at 3 and rode till sunset, great fun swell 18 to 20 spent more time in the air than on the water, didn't want it to end, totally unexpected, totally buggered, finished with couple of Guinnesses, doesn't get much better

I came in just before sunset, didn't want to chance dropping it in the outer reef, loving these light winds and monster swells. Love to see the wave I was on with a 4m swell, would look like cloadbreak!

Was that you out at Point Moore yesterday riding those smoking dragons on your own Austin ?
If so I was impressed, they looked huge! I stayed on the inside small ones,am not yet ready for those monsters...

If it was you, I left a mint choccy biccie on the last car in the parks windscreen, which I was guessing was yours. Hope you enjoyed it!
I was pretty stoked after that session, even the shore break was a lot of fun, I had some great high speed down the line rides ( usually ending with a stacko of course).

Hope it was not the last sea breeze.

Haha legend dave! That mint choc bikkie was just what I ordered cheers! Glad you were stoked too, that shorey goes off on a big swell, the groms love surfing it too. Does get a bit lonely out there, almost discounted it because of the difficulty getting out through the channel busters as they were sucking and swirling in places id never seen before, was soooooo glad when I got upwind, needless to say there were a few dragons put to sleep that afternoon!

Haha, glad you enjoyed it... it was my Balls of Steel award! Dont know who put all the lolly wrappers under your wipers though, there were already there.

The only time I saw you, and not just your kite was when you popped out the back of a wave to run back out. Too much swell to see the rider! I saw a few channel busters breaking a long way across... would not have liked to have run into one of them.

What board were you riding? I saw a new looking WAM in your car.

yeah the lolly wrappers were some mates who swung by for a gander, ran across a set of 3 channel busters at one point that made me gasp, they were boiling and sucking a long way out to sea. Was riding a 5' 10" North Kontact strapless with a leggy, so thankful for the legrope in conditions like this. Kontact handles the speed and size well perfect board for the conditions, I tend to lean on the WAM for 'smaller' stuff.....Mast high and below!

I ride a WAM too and I reckon you have nailed it! Ill stick to mast high and below (ie small stuff) for the time being haha..
The point moore shore break with a decent swell, though totally tame compared to the Lord of the RIngs territory you were in, really was fun.. I think the wind must be a bit cross-off there, hence why fun for groms, and plenty of speed with a kite.

May get to say gday one day.. I normally kite up at Horrocks, only occaionally in Gero

Cheers
