Let us know how you go with the injection. We discussed them and not going that way at this stage.
How do you go sitting in the car up to Southport & back? Sitting is my main issue, particularly getting in/out car. Doesn't help being 6'5 either.
Yes same..... sitting still can feel like a cramp coming on and nerve pain. My car has excellent seats and I'm able to stretch out non driving left leg (automatic) so not as bad as an unsupportive chair. I've actually just replaced bed, my dining chair, and changing TV/lounging body position. Was told to get knee above hip as often as possible, but I find I just have to continually mix it up. Not do any exercise or stretch that pressures it. There is a modern push now with zero rehab, that has had positive results as well. Controversial as it puts a whole industry at risk. The variation of advice is amazing. I have a physio in the family. No treatment I received did anything more than leave me feeling nice (but not better) acupuncture, a range of physio, and massage, and exercise, Pilates, yoga. Let you know in a week. I'm still doing everything but will have a rest from the water for nearly two weeks. Very impressed with dr, worth the drive. His client list is impressive, and he just is a straight shooter, with lots of experience and the right contact referrals. Wait list to get in is biggest downer.
Btw steroid (cortisone) injection was painless, like acupuncture. Local on surface. Watched it flood joint on ultra sound.
