The way I see it strong winds all the time are not that great for progression. When I learn or try new tricks especially those that involve loops and spins (that's about all of them), I like to try them on larger kites and low wind days. You are definitely going to crash so I would like to do it without getting my b#lls slapped into the middle of next week. Oh and a little bit of flat water is nice too. However at times the child comes out and is all I want to do is boost as high as possible and scream like a little girl
