Kiting in cairns

I'm heading to cairns tomorrow has any one got any good spots to kite as seabreeze always seems to so green arrows but the cairns wind meter is always showing crap conditions.???

Southern end of four mile beach at port douglas (check the low isles observations) and then there is Yorkey's Knob (Cairns Obs). Forecasts is the average for that sector, which includes a big chunk of offshore where the trades blow stronger. Inshore it's not as strong so Id take a bigger kite. Was up there a week or so ago and used my 11 and 17 exclusively.. Wished i had a 12 or 13, my 9 never saw the light of day. nice blokes up there though and lots of North kites everywhere!

Yorkeys or Jump on the ferry to green island for the afternoon it's always 5-10 knots stronger

Hey mate
It's been fairly ****e of late, if ya keen as there is kite spots all the way from holloways to palm cove, stay close to the water and its best after miday , pump up when it's on, if we get a stiff SE twill be fun,
