Since 2013 the foil racing side of the kiting has grown steadily with high performance world, regional and national events taking shape. So now it's the turn of Asia and Oceania to step into the fray and by popular demand, the KTA brings to life its first international foil series -
KTA Hydrofoil Series Asia & Oceania.
In keeping with the KTA ethos the tour is aimed at a more grassroots level of racer, with the intention of giving Hydrofoil riders in Asia and Oceania the chance to make their first move into racing. Although under IKA sanction, the KTA class will be open, meaning that you can race with any type of foilboard or kite. The objective is to bring together the kite foilers from across the two regions for some good quality racing and fun events.

So if you have a hydrofoil and have not yet given racing a go, this is your chance. Be you a recreational rider, someone who is aiming for a pro-racer future or someone who just does not want to keep spending a shed load of money to stay in the running at the pro-events.
Then check out the
KTA Hydrofoil Series Asia & Oceania and give it a blast - make some new mates and be part of the scene, that could be taking the sport all the way to the next Olympic Games!
The series will be kicking things off in Koh Samui in Thailand as part of the long established
Samui Regatta from the 31 May - 2 June 2018.
