If anyone's heading up here a friend has an amazing house for short term rentals, a stones throw from the water, good surf break in front, fresh Crays off the beach, and great kiting or dwinder start point
I did the City beach to Trigg run yesterday after work & had a blast but seriously you need a set of traffic lights out there for the amount of kiters in the water.
My good mate Slack that showed me the launch spot reckoned it wasn't even a busy day
Still loved it out there (goofy footers paradise)
it's actually not too bad if you are on the run - pick your gap, and kind of stay back from the guys in front, and ahead of the pack behind. I can't figure out why everyone likes being in each others way all the time otherwise - you can't line up the sections the way you want to like that.
a bit of consideration never goes a stray for those people not downwinding as well, as all of you blast through... you can go out further than the breakers on occasion if someone that is on a wave in front of you seems to be lining up a nice one. it won't ruin the flow you think you have going on. also if you follow someone in to shore, you know they have to come back out towards you, and can't do that until you turn around... right?!
less whiny though, it has been pretty good the past couple of days.
sunday was the best I've done in a while, and felt like pre-2010 "crowds" given the comp guys probably called it for the day
Surfboy can sniff out the chop Cauncy.... dont think he will be impressed.
And plums wont like it all one way.
Only us mid westers are happy
Stuff WA wind, I'm bored, I'm heading for two week kite trip to Terinaki. First day is is is forecast for 38 knots and 4.7m swell, yeeewwww!!!!!~
Sorry to have to inform people that WA does get some light wind - felt a bit underpowered on my 7m today
