Concrete and depth adds resistance
A core xr pulled the first one clean out of the hole with 6 bags of 20 kg rapid set when it decided to fly off in strong winds
Hence extra depth and more ballast
And as mentioned a good height to clip into your harness
IMHO if you have a local kite spot you should have one
