We are stoked for our teamrider Flo to win this big race! ONYA!!
I talked to him after the race and he said it was a very tough battle from Germany to Denmark and back. Lit up on his 7m Ozone R1 Parafoil kite with the raceboard. He would have much rather done the race on his KFA hydrofoil but the rules didnt allow for it banning the foils. It was very tough on legs and body to push the 3 fins for 42km with his good mate Jannis Maus not too far behind also charging all the way through. He was super happy and exhausted finishing the race. Another great result shortly after winning the VKWC Salom event 3 weeks ago.Next week Flo Gruber will join Olly Bridge, Nicolas Parlier, Julien Kerneur and Rikki up in sunny and windy Townsville training for the Gold Cup Grand Finale which is kicking off on 8th of Oct with Nationals in Formula/ Foil 2 days prior.Rock on!

Can't wait for it Marvin. It's going to be a hoot for Townsville.

That top picture is such a cool shot!! Love it.

If only Tony Abbott could get his hands on all of those "ugly" wind turbines in the background and convert them to coal or better still nuclear just to improve the pic a bit more.

Tony who?Yea shot looks epic but why make an upwind/ downwind course and have the majority on TT?That type of race screams for foils and big fins..L2L is a lot smarter with their race on a reach its pretty much everybodys game.
