7.5 come on,,, I'm going for 8. It happened a km off shore in shark, crocodile, irukandji, blue bottles and marine stinger infested waters, the fin took out the top of the calf muscle just missed the main artery and then self rescued.

Ok, 9 then. 10 would have been all of the above and body surfing a tsunami back to shore.
Get well soon!

From watching Bondi Rescue - U would have been entitled to stick Ur hand in the air and ask for help

Tony Abbott is noted for putting his foot in his mouth - well posting that picture when you are selling 2 kites with this in the description.. "Kite is in perfect condition, has never had a tear or hole in either the kite or the bladder" beggars belief

I would not want to get back on a raceboard and try to hold much power with that in one leg - wooooow it is like a propellor chop.
So how hard was it to get back to dry land??

Hope it is/was a power heal with good outcome.

Cheers

AP

Well picked up AquaPlow, however the kites listed are my wife's two flexifoil protons (9m and 12m),,, at the time the race board attacked me I was flying my flexifoil ion 12.5m. AND YES THEY ARE STILL FOR SALE !!

After the crash I swapped boards to a nugget with a mate and new if I could stand up then I'd be fine,(fingers crossed) luckily the tendons were only bruised and held me up, but blood loss was rather obvious and my eyes were losing focus, I dug deeper than ever before and just wanted the beach. I also had a stinger suit on so couldn't see the wound, just red stuff every where, no pain but an odd feeling,,,,,,,, thankfully the pain came later

Hope you heal quick.

I sanded the back edge of my fins so the edge is square instead of knife like. Alex Aguera advised doing it and the 'sharp' square edge loses very little performance.

Slalom racing at the PKRA Mexico. It must have worked out OK or we woulda heard about it..

But, you know, chicks dig scars....

Seriously bro, hope you make a full recovery...
