Yeah look I suppose I am just looking for some tips from somebody that might be able to help out. I can still do them, just finding the finesse a bit more difficult without being able to move ankles.
My laces come loose because they are those toggle things, but I prefer them tight. So wouldn't specifically loosen them for this trick, but hey maybe it makes a difference.
So if you can shed some constructive light on this I'd be appreciative.
im using Ronix parks with the same sorta 'toggle thingy's"......
i was pretty much re-tightening both top & bottom laces every few minutes while riding. guess it's works fine for wakeboarding with short & quick runs, but they suck for kiting when the laces loosen.tried to come up with a solution, and i used an extra lace toggle on top of the original ones. Just pinched the toggles from an old waterproof jacket, but locks them in perfect!! Originally used metal ones, but they corroded so swapped them to plastic.Havnt had them come loose since!!Only downside was it made the laces a little shorter, which makes it a pain getting them on & off, so swapped the laces to some spare bridle line i had to make them a little longer. Works perfect!if your boots sh** you to tears from coming loose, give them bad boys a crack!
