Not your typical kite spot!

Off shore winds, rigging/launching/landing on the asphalt, rocky shore line. I've seen my share of dodgy kite spots while traveling but nothing like this. I don't think there is a lot of self-launching going on there. Not much room for error! We have it good here in OZ!

it's in Cannes, France. Beaches there are always super busy/crowded so it's a way to keep kiters (and windsurfers) away I guess, at their own risk... If you look at google map in this area you'll understand there isn't much room for kiting elsewhere in that area

Yeah, false advertising. I don't see surf anywhere.

I wonder how popular I would be if I went for a spot of land kiting on that carpark?
