Today I tried my first kite, apart from my own. A Drifter 11m 2012.
Comparing to my switchy 12 2012, the drifter is sooo more responsive and turning much tighter! And also, because it was light wind, I had to work the kite quite a lot, I notice that on the way up, the drifter pulled me more than the switchy.
Has anyone given the drifter a go? and what are your impressions?
If it feels right & you get the types of performance YOU want, then that's what you should roll with.
Everyone is going to have a slightly different interpretation of what something does or does not do
