Wow i happened to see this video this morning when i was making coffee and thought about posting it. Its amazing how womens kiteboarding is all about their asses. The number one female on woo is sitting at about number 150 (16m, 7m better than my best) but she is useing a pseudonym so i dont know who she is. My (6 yo) daughter one day will jump over 20m and I wonder if that will change the whole dynamic. Having said that i would probably suck xxxx for a trip like that so i probably shouldnt judge to harshly.

I really cant believe I am posting this but I could not help feel that the large kiting companies are exploiting and creating unrealistic images of women that are as archaic as the modelling industry. How many talented ladies were passed over just because the did not have a size 8 figure??? That was tantamount to soft porn.


But then again.... Nice arses

How many dad bods in bucket hats and fingerless gloves do kite companies use to peddle their wares...?

Met a young 14 yr old girl the other at my brothers boxing gym. She's at the national level fully sponsored mountain biker and an amazing boxer as well. She had her leg broken mountain biking and was still at the gym working her upper body and developing her punching technique. Totally committed young lady and totally humble. Incredibly fit and strong.

I thought how awesome is it that a young girl can believe and then execute her talents to this level. It's a great reflection on how far we've come.

So pictures like that leave me in a strange place. Whilst I feel it does the usual and exploitation of the female form which is not a noble thing, she does indeed have an incredible ass.

Life is is such a paradox.

Riddle me this. If all you guys had incredible arses and could get free kites and sponsorship because of that arse and the fact that also kited would you take that sponsorship and flaunt your arse to all hell to get more kites?

Also videos of the sponsered dudes kiting show them busting around shirt of guns pumped and abs rediculously shredded. Is it any different?

Lastly, I follow a couple of these chicks on book face (for their riding skill of course) and they are constantly posting pictures of their own tits and arse in a variety of angles. There is the possibility that they are narsissistic people fully aware thatthat t arses are funding their Narsissistic lifestyle and will milk it's pulling power for as long as practical.....

If you've got it, flaunt it.
There is a reward for it.
But why?
marketers use these images to get our attention. But is that because they believe we are of low enough intelligence to not see and appreciate the skills and hard work put into getting those skills.

If people want to do stuff like this then that's cool, I don't care. What I do care about though is these same people and companies trying to promote these sort of riders like they actually have talent and are "killing it". Showing your ass to get tons of likes and views but still riding like a rank beginner doesn't make you a good kiteboarder.

The best female in big air is Angely Bouillot and I think she inspired a couple other girls to get more serious with big air earlier this year. That girl is crazy good and yeah ... crazy! At the moment there is a big gap between her and the next one but it will be exciting to see what happens with female big air until the next king of the air in 2020.

Maybe they should call it queen of the air....

An overweight better female rider or a slim attractive slightly less performing rider?

We can get on our PC pedestal but it's pretty simple if you are honest.
