Anyone else seen this 100mtr kitesurfing kite like I have seen online some time back?
Cant find pics and details online anymore.
Was made for a world record I seem to remember and I did see it in the air, and site said 3knot wind and was only at 12 o'clock of course.

I used to have a 17m, pretty sure itd be harder to pump up the 100m kite.

Imagine trying to find a leak!

Don Montague from Naish was doing things with big kites and boats like catamarans, and there was even a company that wanted to put kites on cargo ships to reduce fuel use.

Monkey Kites sold a 28 meter LEI for a while.
I remember we had to take it in turns to pump it up, the leading edge was very thick.

Steering was, um, slow, but it was a fun kite to try out.

I can't imagine how big a 100m kite would be. Surely it couldn't have been an inflatable kite?

Loop it!

Awesome, that is huge. I'd be interested to see the steering mechanism for that. The bridle must be pretty complicated too.
