They are all terrific foilers.

I can't even imagine how it would have been to have my daughters (I have two) wanting to kite and learn to foil. One daughter surfs with me on occasion but the other doest like ocean spirts. Love my girls to death and would not change a thing, but when I watch this vid I get so stoked on multiple levels.

Yep, same boat as you. 2 daughters, no interest in kiting. But that's ok. they're into their own sports and I figure I took up kiting at 40, so there's plenty of time if they get the bug later in life.

This young girl has skills on a foil that many of us will never acquire. I can't imagine how good she'll be at 20 - if she sticks at it.

Yep I'm also in the same boat two girls that have no interest in kiting yet.. Ya can't push them to do anything they don't want to.
These clips have been an inspiration to many foilers.
I agree Duke her skills will be out if this world of she stays in the water.
Third strapless sesion today it clicked nicely. Now to study there clips to and learn to switch feet.

Nice - strapless is great for free riding on a foil - and makes foot switches so much easier.

I kited on clouds over in HNL when Greg first launched the Clouds. The 17 was a great low wind kite for strapless ( the BRM Paipo) and then new foilers. I have watched Greg develop kites over the years and "K" has certainly progressed extremely quickly with all the kiting they do. Great to see.

I'm jealous of the bond they have sharing a sport and stoke.

I've failed miserably.

I try to get my kids anywhere near a windy beach and a kite and there's tantrumming, swearing, abuse, pouting, crying and general disappointment and that's just me trying to get the buggars in the car.......

Yeah can be tough Plums, neither of my daughters have embraced my sports, mountain or ocean. But now they are grown up they treasure the memories and come back to you in different ways. Give them space and lots of time mate!
