I have been there with the surfboard and as far as I can tell most of the lagoon would be deep enough. There is a shallow ridge of reef on the first line of breakers which might be too shallow. Once your out past that you would be sweet.
The long spilling slopey waves would be epic for foiling either under a kite or sup or surfboard

It's deep enough at high tide to kite foil in front of the small park out to within say 50mtrs inside of the first reef.Lots of seaweed about.
Sup or surfoil with 60-70cmmast would work.
Tried two years ago with a 90cm but was only learning.
We stayed for a month in September.
plenty of kiting.
