You should try 2-way satellite without acceleration technology. You would hate it even more. 1-way satellite, which I don't think NBN use is much faster and surprisingly usable as you remove at least the uplink delay which can be limiting.

I have actually signed up for Starlink back in Jan or Feb as I wanted to trial it in remote areas, but you submit your deposit and wait... and wait... and wait.... real soon now.... wait... They didn't even mention anything about which areas they expect to service and which ones they won't. I had to use Wiki to find that out too.

..but as Mr Milk has pointed out, the cost for most people will be too much, especially when they are quibbling about $60 internet plans already. I use a relatively low speed internet connection and its perfectly fine, and would be for most people.

i think I was wrong! It seems they now have licenses to operate Australia wide.

Just connected new router/modem up, now getting 19 Mb/s down and 2up. Happy with that
