I took this pic this morning, rather pleased with it, I've made it my laptop background.


These small snails usually reside in the lipia lawn, but that's being taken over by the couch, and the Curranwongs eat them for breakfast . So we don't see much of them these days. Not sure why this one was climbing up the glass door, but lined up with the dark depths of the Albany woolly bush, it made a great high contrast pic. The dust and dirt on the glass, gives it that space feel.

Never knew they extended below the shell like that. Wonder if theyre shells are shaped like that to reduce wind resistance and drag at high speeds

Thanks for that, I hadn't noticed, guess it's something to do with there locomotion, the way the "foot" is expanded and contracted.

Area 51 is indeed real. The base that is. There is sh!tloads of videos on YouTube of people going right up to the front gate. What's is done in there is anyone's guess. 1.5 million people have pledged to come and storm the base. I reckon 100 people will turn up knowing that this is the internet.

What is Area 51?

It would seems not. I am not pissed off if it is coming across as that. I am just getting competitive ( is that the word?). I actually though you didn't think Area 51 existed. Whilst making fun of flat-earthers and the unfortunate souls who think Australia doesn't exist.

Alternative reality.

Well I was out in the cold, all night, with the humongous telescope, searching for a giant tortoise. But the micro snail was all I could find. And I think you're right it does change everything.
What are disk Worlds supported on?
And how big are they?

There could be a plethora of these things, floating around, with micro civilisations, and we just wouldn't see them.
