Yup there's only one reason why it's fear of humans would be over-ridden.

This video led me to a whole heap of other friendly seals / sea lions The're like the lab's of the sea.

When Dad had his mooring in Herring Bay, he ended up naming one family of seals "the Keatings", since their tax collection was pretty effective.

fish, squid and occies, cray's, fresh bait - didn't matter what it was - they got their share.

Looking back - it was the only tax we didn't mind paying.
