Never had any kind of virus or bug or failure on my Mac iPhone or iPad in all the years I have owned them.Never had the need for Anti virus. You can have your glitchy android and I'll happily settle for what you call mediocre

IMO, if your dumb enough to pay for anti virus & can't sort out your ownsh1t. You need to either stop visiting dodgy sites or be with apple - Apple prob won't let you look at the really dodgy sites anyway.

What about the iphone 8, it's just a rebadged iphone 7 with wireless charging and soc bumb... oh oh and aSCHMIK glass back; I always thought iphone users were technically a little short of a full deck, but Apple just treats them with contempt.

Clearly aimed at the idiots because they selectively take specs. I.e. the fact that the iPhone x is a 5.8" screen vs a 5.2". What the **** does 8 core mean? 8 core means bull**** if the individual core speeds are lower. A quad core 10 years ago will be a lot slower than any dual core these. Are they hoping people are dumb enough for fall for this crap, or is it only the Samsung one that's are dumb enough.

But if you take this seriously, Samsung introduced facial recognition 2 years ago, great. In the usual Samsung fashion, it gets fooled by a photograph because that's Samsung's issue, they cram in as much crap as possible and do it in a substandard piss poor fashion. Copy and paste, yeah, you got it first, but you also got a piss poor version first. What else? Yes, Samsung actually had to copy Apple's icons because they couldn't even come up with their own icon designs. The list goes on.

...this has become something not unlike the megapixel war the cameras had a few years back. It's all overkill to like 2^32 for what 99% of people use their phones for. Myself included.

I once had someone race me to see whose phone started up faster. Seriously. I am sure it is just people ...compensating for something.
