Where would you live in Australia (or not...), if money didn't matter

What would be the main criteria - good surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing nice beaches free from four-wheel drives rain forests or open grassland

I like the towns on the rivers/coast south of Hobart... or maybe somewhere away from the noise on the sunshine coast...

i think the best places are seasonal. If you have the coin, winter one spot, summer another, maybe a few mor
i.e winter in NQ maybe on the beach at mission beach. summer down on the surf coast.

Somewhere between Coffs and Brisbane but 20-40 minutes inland. Bass, cod etc and a short drive from good surf. That'd do me just fine.

Moon, but a light side, so I could watch you all from a distance every night.
Beside if could be nice to be lightweight again. Without any diet instantly will be only 14 kg heavy.

Hey Pug... my son is there now. Been averaging -16 to -22 degrees. One day it got to zero and he was in a T-shirt outside!
They've had a good snow season though - he's been there about 6 weeks with 3 more to go. Enjoy.

I'd take summer at Whistler over winter any day.

Might be worth the occasional winter visit just for kicks (and, you know, if I had a place there and all..), but summer is the good stuff. Lift passes are only about half the price in summer too!
