I think you'll find out it has really only just been uncovered. Im across most Marine slaughters and i had never heard of it until recently. Having said that it was discovered by Greenpeace who i don't follow. SO I'm not sure..

Honestly the world is in a fast track to the toilet, one day the human race will see that we need healthy oceans not i giant dead lake..Sadly though it may be too late by then though..


Having said that 600 whale sharks compared to 70 plus Million sharks world wide..

I'd use this one. Because if you go with your first idea you'd be wrong. Vending machine are responsible for more deaths than Sharks not whale sharks.. You need to keep your signs factual...

No I like fishing but dont love it, just find some of the comments on these threads biased, even hypocritical. Most people will push there own barrows but forget the fact they add to the problem of ocean depletion.

SO your saying Recreational fishing is depleting the oceans Don't you think having scientific based quotas is completely different than a government killing a species , dumping the body at sea to bring other sharks into clean up the mess. All this whilst spending millions of our dollars to do that is comparable to recreational fishing..

All whilst there is no guarantee it will make our beaches any safer what so ever

Scientific quotas on rec fishing? jb, is that a joke? It is, until they quota the number of boats out there anyway. You don't think "small" fish get chucked back at the end of the day so the all the "size" bigger fish can be kept. Dreaming if you think there's any real science in it. But gee, it's keeping lots of people in jobs.

There's always one isn't there... You can't let it go without blaming Asians for it.

You honestly think they are the only ones. Maybe you should look in your own backyard... Drum lines and nets in NSW, Qld and now WA... and that is before we look at the per capita emissions of Australia compared to the rest of the World.

To paraphrase a reasonably famous religious text: "Take the log out of your own eye before you take the speck out of someone else's.

In other words... make sure you're perfect before you blame an entire race (or in the case of "Asians" an entire group of races).
