top show. And he's a bit of a comedian to boot

I watched the first episode and I'm recording the others. He really only says "farq you" to his chooks at random intervals. I covet his forced air wood stove.
How does that work? Is it burning charcoal or wood, and does feeding it with air turn up the temp for ages, or just a while? interesting.
Looks just like any type of bellows to me, except he's adapted an air pump. Seems to be just burning whatever he can find on the beach and moving charcoal from the outdoor fireplace indoors.
Like anything manual, you need to keep feeding the beast in order to get results so no, it doesn't "turn up the temp for ages".
Yeah, its interesting in that the more he uses it the more it seems like it was designed just for that very job of cooking, so I wouldn't be surprised if its a known piece of equipment. I don't think the geared impeller setup can be off anything else except maybe a forge if not designed just for cooking?
The way he uses it though does suggest that it keeps the temp up for a while, so I might write him a nasty worded letter advising that it may not be realistic. I am sure that will help.
What's with the fridge too? No electricity, but a fridge? Just a way to store stuff or is it a gas powered fridge?
What did he do with the rest of the 'male chicken'? Seems a bit wasteful for just one bit!
I feel like I need to write a letter to the daily telegraph..
